The failed first recovery was a big blow to my confidence, but the following day we loaded up tons of tools and equipment. This time we weren't going to leave without my trailer.

When we arrived (again after hours) there was a couple walking dogs in front of the dealership. We entered the lot and backed right up to the trailer. Out came the tools, spare battery and other items and we started trying to power the jack with jumper wires. while we were doing this the couple with...

After purchasing the trailer the GM of the dealership and I were in contact about when I would be able to pick up the trailer. One of my brothers has a nice tow vehicle and after a weekend away from home we were going to pick up the trailer the week after.

After checking out a few things we were wondering about my wife and I nodded to each other that this was the trailer we wanted. We proceeded to the showroom...

Pt 3

Flash forward to Aug 6, we hadn't heard from anyone at the dealer. So i messaged the GM on facebook and said I was interested in the trailer at $7,500. He quickly replied the trailer was on consignment and the owner wanted $15,000 and he listed it at $7,500 to show there was more interest in it at a lower price. After some discussion we decided to approach the owner with an offer of $7,500. The GM said he didnt expect the owner to accept but would try. 45 minutes later...

Pt 2

July 26, 2019

Browsing Facebook marketplace I came across an airstream that looked familiar. Looking that the photos posted on the listing a unique sticker in the rear window jogged my memory of where I saw the trailer before. This trailer was listed at the local Airstream dealer for sale but i was thrown off by the price. On the dealers website it was listed for $15,000 but facebook was $7,500. As you can probably guess this threw flags up all over the...
