Bobby, on our 66 I made the Walter of Wabash slides for the beds and table leaf. Our 55 didn’t use them, but I made some short ones as supports for the dining table when it drops down for the bed position. I plan on posting something tomorrow on the front of our 55. You can use whatever you think is sturdy enough and works as a slide. They are not that difficult to make. Also, VTS’s price is not that bad. The W of W slides are amazingly sturdy.
