Hi! Sorry for not responding sooner ... I didn't see your message.

My custom bike rack was designed and installed by Andrew Thomson of CanAm RV here in London, Canada. It was more or less copied by fiamma and officially given approval for use on most Airstreams by Airstream. It was no less expensive than fiamma, and in fact was probably more expensive since it custom designed and uses a folding two-bike rack from Rvika and custom mounting hardware provided by Zip-Dee. And yes, the installation involves drilling into the belt (on my trailer) and into the bumper. I have had no issues with it at all, other than it does tend to restrict access to both my bumper storage and rear storage areas. But it does work and works well.

    Good luck!
