    I am in the process of buying a 65 ambassador, that is fairly original state with obvious leaks or water damage. I have been advised by a man that restoress them that they chunk the chassis and axles and start from scratch! I do not want to do this, but is that typical for a trailer this old?

    I have backed her into sites many times - and I have to tell you, it is MUCH easier to position a camper this size than a little one. Little ones a squirrelly - a 31 footer backs precisely and evenly where you want it to go. You are about four hours from me - straight out the thruway to the LeRoy exit, Route 19.
