Hi,

Many months ago I sent out my first message on the forum about my 1958 AS and you were one of the people that got back to me. Wondering if I could chat with you with a few basic questions?

An idea of what I am wondering about:

1. I have a basic receipt from the seller that just says paid in full. No other title. I have been talking to a trailer builder near Peterborough that can make me an entirely new frame using the old one as a pattern and then I have to put the shell back on myself. He said he will rate it and plate it and it will have a new VIN number. Seems like a good idea to me so it is totally legal?

2. The trailer guys want to know some specifics about the axles. What the hub face to hub face dimensions are with the tires off or the spring centers. I can't even understand the question let alone guess the answer!
