StillRod. Would you mind a chat regarding your hitch? I have an Invisihitch and am willing to change it ou for another that can be reinforced.

Sorry for the delay. I've been monitoring the forum on my iPhone without logging in, so didn't see this until I sat down today at my desktop.

The removable Euro goosenecks are nice asthetically, but i think problematic here in the USA with heavier loads. The OE hitch and controller harness are solid performers, particularly after adding forward reinforcement. I'm at 800# on the ball, without difficulty of any sort...over the notional 600# limit, but not much, and well within axle, tire, and all other specs.

Enjoy your new rig. It should tow very comfortably once you're all set up.

I am picking up an x5d tomorrow and plan on using the Invisihitch. Trailer hitch weight is 610min - 700#. I am not an experienced trailer user but wanted a smaller profile vehicle so I could use it as a daily driver. Neither BMW or Invisihitch supports using a WDH. Any thoughts?
