Just to let you know I have decided not to sell the mattress and hold it until such time I sell the trailer along with its original mattress.

Understood. Yes I also heard Bates RV has changed hands. North Trail RV in Ft Myers also seem to be carrying the full range and not just the Interstates now. I put the mattress into storage without thinking of taking a picture. Will try and do so tomorrow. Please give me an email address or number I can send/text same to.

Just to let you know, still waiting for response from Airstream…but in the meantime, by chance do you have a picture of the mattress? Probably should have already asked, but did not think of it until my husband asked if I had seen it. Also, just found out that Bates' RV has been bought out..apparently new ownership opens this coming week. We plan to drive over just to see what is different..my understanding is that they will still carry and service Airstreams.

I cannot find actual manufacturing date on the papers I have. We bought it from Bates RV new inventory in November 2012. The VIN no, is 1STJFYP2XCJ527116 which should be enough to track with Airstream.

I am in the Brandon (Tampa) area. One more question I forgot to ask…know they changed the mattress in the Airstreams mid 2012…do you happen to know what month your Airstream when was manufactured. Factory says if I can tell them the date they can verify it will fit my unit.
