Sbb, I missed seeing you at PW. I've been on the road since Labor Day and just got back onto the Forum tonight. I've been rally hopping my way to Florida and am currently at the Air Forums Faluminum in Hiawassee Georgia.
Did you get your A-frame issue resolved by now? Pulling up on the torsion bars shouldn't have resulted in a bent frame. If you recall, I suggested that it would be good if you got rear air shocks put on your Suburban. That would raise the rear of the Suburban without putting any stress on the AS frame. You need a 2500 series. A one link adjustment is only about a one inch difference, yet the frame apparently bent 2.5 inches. I'm willing to bet that somewhere your back wheels dropped down into an extremely low spot which dispersed the weight of your truck between the front wheels and trailer wheels. Your 800 lb. bars are about right for the size/weight of your AS. I use 1000 lb bars on my 34 footer. Keep in touch! ~Alan
