So sorry I did not see this post until now. You've probably already has some inspector and have bought it, or passed this one up by now. I've been in the midst of renovating my '78 31' Sovereign. Oh what a project that has morphed into!! Nonetheless, I'm all in, and WILL make it a truly cool AS. I'm converting to all electric, 50 amp service. No smelly, combustible propane for me. Again - sorry I couldn't be your wingman for the launch of your project. Good Luck - its a grand adventure indeed.

Hi SailFaster -
Are you available as a trailer inspector? I'm in town from Colorado to visit/pay for and arrange pick up of a '76 31' International I purchased on Ebay. I'm a total novice at this and could really use a wing man (read: pilot) to make sure that going through with this is a good financial move. (I purchased a '69 globetrotter a couple of months ago and haven't seen it since it went into rehab (it arrived in much worse shape than communicated).
Its like an arranged marriage - this buying on Ebay - I'd sure like a second opinion before getting hitched to Mr. Wonderful only to discover he has more baggage than I'd bargained for.
