Jeffrey, the wife was watching me answer your filiform question, and saw you are from Carlsbad. She would love to live there. Told her that is not going to happen now $$$$$$$. I should have stayed and bought when I was a Navy Pilot at Miramar in the 60s.
Good luck with the light corrosion, I would buy the Classic rings if AS won't work with you. concave base for the upper rear lights and use flat bases for the rest of the lights. AS will know which base and how many each for your model. I'll send you the install instructions if AS won't provide--they should. In short, you pull out wires 3 inches. Slip the teardrop light through the Classic ring, then screw it all back on the trailer and caulk.

Howard,
I wanted to thank you for all of your guidance. It's all done. Now we wait , treat , wait and hopefully see nothing! Treat some more...... see the outdoors!

Howard,
I have had some communication with Robert regarding my soon to be delivered 27FB. We live a few miles from the coast in San Diego. Of course, I have read 100 or more pages about the corrosion issues and filiform. Somewhere along the way I read that a good course of action is to apply corrosion X on all of the concern areas as well as all cut edges of panel and rivets, then follow up with a artist brush and hit the edges with Nyalic.
I am wondering if I am using Walbernize on a regular basis, will the corrosion X make it through and will the Nyalic stick? I am also thinking about treating the door handle and rear light casings with X then spray them with Nyalic but wonder if spraying over the inferior existing clearcoat will help or not.
I don't think that Robert has experience with the Nyalic, hence the reason for my quest of knowledge from you.
Thanks so much for your advice.
Jeffrey
