I dug out my cooktop and have some pictures of it. I set up a Picasa account and If I knew how to send you the connection to it, I would. If you can guide me on how to send the Picasa, would help.
On the cooktop, the chrome rings that the burners set in are in pretty decent shape as well as main chrome cover. Very little rust. The cover is hinged and is a little bit loose. If I hadn't planned on a new oven with burners on top, I would definitely reuse the cooktop. Just needs some clean up.
If you haven't had a chance to box up the antennea, I'm not in a big hurry for it. Will probably be next spring before I can get the old base removed.
