Just saw this profile note. There was no photo attached of your serial number tag. Best to continue this conversation by email or instant message. Profile comments are a hard way to communicate. No attachaments and I do not get email notifications when they are posted, so I have to discover them almost by accident. If you use the pulldown menu by clicking my forum name you should see email and IM options. Not sure if those options allow a photos to be attached, though.
Joe, Here is a photo of our Serial Number Tag on the camper. It is a 28' International with two twin beds and a pull out in front. The bathroom is in the back. Not sure what else I could add to the notes for this serial number for your research. If you have any questions please let me know.
I replied to your post on the open part of AirForums earlier this afternoon before I just found the attached profile comment. I am getting ready to research an answer and will post it on the thread as it is easier to type and edit there. I do hope you will share the serial number of your 1980 International so that I can add it to the 1980 serial number database I am developing. Thanks in advance for that.
Hi Joe, I was told that you are the guy to ask about the history of a WBCCI#. We just bought a 28' 1980 Airstream International. It is our first Airstream and we are looking forward to the airstream life and community. The other day we noticed at one time there was a WBCCI# on the front of the airstream. It was hard to make out but we think it reads 12118. The only history that we have is that it was own by the previous owner in Oklahoma and Colorado. Then it was owned by the previous owner just outside San Antonio, TX. We would really love to know the history of this camper. I hope you can help us out. Thank you
