    good morning,
I am new to the forum, looking to buy my 1st AS an 1998 Excel 1000 31[/url] Looked at it yesterday: very clean & well maintained. "Significant" blemishes were three corner roof dents: one over a rivet line, but none seem to be a problem. No apparent water damage, no significant rust on visible steel/frame components. No outer skin/corrosion issues. Ceiling is up & intact. Inside is very clean with carpet removed in all but the bedroom. New AC, New tires, New Black Tank. My Question: 1. are there any typical problem areas for this age/type to look for?

US: first time Rv'ers, planning to travel 6+ months/year. Our ideal trailer=28', this one is 31 - too big for a first unit? Can we get into BLM & State Parks? So many questions... THANKS so much for your time!

PS: it's offered at 26K, I see an other identical one in Texas for 27.5. do you know the "typical" fair value?
