i'm new to this so i hope this is the right way to answer. If not let me know. I write mostly estate planning, tax and business stuff. Patti or Marty, I see you are a writer. What subjects do you write about? I have written a couple of books. I just need to get marketing them. I have more I want to write, but too many projects at the moment. Judy

Marty,

I teach at several Universities and Colleges as adjunct instructor. I have an MBA in Management and an MBA in Financial Management. My husband also mentors full time online 35+ online faculty for Central Texas College. He has a MSW and M.Ed. This has been part of our retirment income program. All the classes are taught online. Therefore as long as we have an Internet connect we are good. We hope to sit some next winter in palm springs, ca. This year is getting the Airstream ready for use this summer and next winter. Do you have a Masters degree? That is what it takes to teach at most of the schools. We are though looking at some type of other business that we can do as well. We try to keep cash flowing in a variety of ways as I see you are trying to do.

thanks for the information on your computer/business use. I am so new to this that i'm still not sure i figure out how to reply to you. I'm putting together what hopefully will be a productive "business" endeavor while we travel. I opted for the wifi in motion internet....many of the threads suggested the air card to be enough but i was concerned about the many complaines posted about problems connected. If it is not "pushy" i'm curious how you can teach on line while traveling (sounds too good to be true...). Thanks. Marty (pattimarty)

Greetings,

Sorry to be so slow. I am new enough as well on the forum that I have not figured out the whole system yet.

To answer your questions - The business we use it for is our online teaching. We have not used the online fax for years. That is something we probably will need to include in our travels. We do have a smaller printer that we purchased for traveling. We have not used it as much as we thought we would. Yet with the addition of the traveler and our plans of being gone more than a week at a time, we will be putting that in our trailer.

Just getting our first Airstream and was going to get Verizon air card for business as well. Does your husband have any other suggestions for business? Does he use an e-fax account to get facsimiles? Does he ever use a printer? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
