I hope you have a great time in the 2000!
Mark looked over the stove in our '79 when we removed the galley. Decided we might be better off to buy a new one. So, with research he found one on sale and with the features we wanted. He said it arrived today, so we hope to maintain some momentum - difficult with me traveling so much, but we'll try!
Have fun and tell Margaret, hello from Kentucky (and I guess from CA, since that's where I'm working this week!) Keep us posted!

Margaret got tired of waiting. We found an immaculate 2000 Safari in Waynesville, NC. It does have a couple dents in the rear but since I can't see them in the rear view....what's the problem. Going on our first trip up near Linville tomorrow. Never had one that everything works....so there is a learning curve with all the amenities. Its a 27 ft. center bath with twin beds in the back. We'll problably modify the front Gaucho into a dinette and a sofa. Still have the Caravanner but now we can travel and do the "project". Hope yours is coming along.
John....and Margaret.

What a great experience for you! Nothing like some positive energy to provide some motivation! We came home and did some work on the '79. Trying to keep things moving, but with me traveling so much with my job, it's a struggle! At least when it comes to the things that require some extra manpower/elbow grease!
Take care and if we make it to your area, we'll certainly try to get in touch! If you make it to Central Kentucky, give us a shout, too!

Glad to have an airstream friend. Margaret and I went to the airstream dealer in Grand Rapids today. Nicest guy you've ever met. He showed us all the new ones and he was very knowledgable about my Caravanner. Gave me a lot of good ideas and told me there were no genetic problems with my unit. As soon as I get back, I am gonna get to work on it. Glad you got in contact. My number is 980-234-2566 if you are ever in the China Grove/Davidson area.

Just wanted to say hello from Kentucky, and tell you that we really enjoyed visiting with you and your wife while at the Mothership. Safe travels and good luck with your Caravanner!
