Hi and thanks for your reply. yeah i started a thread and got directed to your thread. I thought the surface was that wood plywood laminate but now im being told it just looks like wood but is vinyal or something. Yeah im worried if fixed it will come back and i dont trust the dealer to do it right. and im nervous of them taking all the cabinetry out and not getting it back in right. Or theyll tell me thats what theyll do but they just put a weight on it for few days or something. I hate to think of having to pretty much plan on a trip to JC later two before warranty runs out. UGH. I'll let you know if i find out more. Thanks and good luck.

Hi Randjg1. I live in a cold area where the temps hit -40F in winter. That may be why the floor is so bad. The dealer told us it would flatten when it warmed up. About a month has passed, and it hasn't really flattened much. It's a bit better, though. I started a thread on this topic and I will add new pics if the floor goes down. The option is to try to have Airstream replace it, but honestly, I don't want to have our cabinets removed to add new flooring. One person on the forum said that the problem is that the flooring is laid before the cabinets are added. In houses, flooring is brought up to the cabinets so that it can expand and contract. Also, this is a loose-lay floor, so it's not glued down, which could cause big cracks, so that's fine. However, we're not too optimistic that the flooring will flatten on its own. Also, we don't have a lot of faith in the dealership, so we don't want them to try to fix it. Please keep me posted if you find a solution.
