Hey M I see that you guys have put the Rogue up for sale. Just want to say the US wine industry is going to go nuts with all those Chinese starting to get into it. I think the Rogue would be perfect as a mobile tasting room. I am planning on contacting local wineries to do something like that with Patience. Hope all is going well! Deborah XO

OK - I just did the same thing...typed this whole long response and have no idea where it went!! I ahve similar stories re: countertop for the AS - the guy who cut the material was very frustrated with me when I kept pointing our flaws, scratches etc he felt that since it was going in a trailer those things shouldn't really matter - ha!!

You're so sweet to share buildesign website with Larry, Greg's a little nervous to come to PS but it could be such an amazing platform for his career.

You should make a point to check out our next axles when you're there...I would rather be safe than sorry

taking a night off from the AS...ran out of Nuvite again! Should be here tomorrow along with our new cyclo-polisher! Should be ready to use that big monster later this week....cross your fingers that our new inverter works!!

Thank you for the info on the axles. Sounds like we need them also.

We originally had a difficult time finding someone to install our countertops in a mobile unit. Our installer Larry convinced this company that it would not be a problem. He worked several years @ the Monarch/Prevost factory just outside of Eugene. BTW, when he was installing the additional tops last Friday I showed him the Buildesign site. He thought your AS looked outstanding. He loves classical Airstreams.

Hi there....did you see it on our FB page? How fun is that - these are all members of our AS unit - three of the families drove up from either Salem or Eugene which is at least a two hour drive. Absolutely amazing!

We had planned to enjoy our trailer for this first year and then replace the axles next year - apparently the guideline for determining need to replace is relative to how much of the wheels they cover...brand new you can see the entire wheel.

I'm probably overly concerned but it's a long drive, we don't know how old these are and we've spent so much money on the interior I don't want risk any vibration damage on the counters (oh wait until you see them) or anything else. We're going to have them done at Inland RV, will be there first thing the morning of the 21st so we should get to Palm Springs middle afternoon at the latest.

My arms are killing me - who did the fabulous polish job on your AS?

That is so awesome! I called my husband (the traveling salesman) who is currently in Wisconsin and he said we can't get out of here until late spring. Maybe, (no we will) fly there!

OK....so where do you live??? We just received notification that we've been acceptd to participate in the Palm Springs Modernism Week in Feb 2011.....OMG!!! There are seven spaces left and it would be sooooooooooo incredible if you came as well!!
