Where is the trailer? I would be willing to inspect. I have been and will be traveling again on the 11th. Send me an email to dash_85283@yahoo.com.

I saw your threads. The axle viability is really based on use. If the trailer has been used and towed a '71 could be very much in acceptable condition. If stored for several years that can be an issues. If the axle is in either condition it would be acceptable to tow assuming nothing broken and the axles have at least some movement. Not having enough movement would be a replacement situation however it should be towable. I towed a '66 Overlander from Ohio to AZ and it had axles that moved only a little and had lost some of it's ride height.

Hi I am flying out to phoenix from CT towards the end of feb to inspect a 71 overlander. I just had Desert Autopiler inspect it and awaiting for their inspection report. They kind of dismissed my concerns about the axle so I am a little suspicious and was hoping to get another set of eyes on it. It was completely restored and looks great. I would be willing to pay you for your effort. Thanks and have a great weekend!! Kyle
