Sorry we didn't see this message until today. We had absolutely no problem with our little chihuahua at Big Bend National Park. Since we didn't visit that many restaurants, we were able to take him just about everywhere we went. We didn't take him over the border into Mexico and we didn't take him into the Lodge. Hello, just stumbled across your Big Bend story and noticed in some of the pictures, beautiful by the way, you have a canine friend along. If you don't mind,how did that go? We have read some discouraging views about dogs and this park.
We have travelled with Sadie, our cattle dog , from her birth, but due to heat etc have stayed away Big Bend. Thinking that may change
