Might be picking up a 22'

My name is Rob, I'm from West Virginia. my wife and I have fixed up a 75 26' argosy which we camp in with our 2 kids.

I have a opportunity to pickup a 56 model 22' safari (thanks y'all in general Resto forum for helping with date model).

The trailer is currently used as storage by the owner so I was limited to what I could examine this time around. Hoping to look at it again once some things are taken out.

It is numer O6311, has the front kitchen, seems to have black tank under front bath (saw handle extension for possible valve up front outside camper). ??
Stove is there with fold up counter.
Fridge looks great.
Sink/faucet there
All cabinets and doors are there with looks like a polyurethane finish.
Dinette table there with cushions.
Rear beds there with mattresses and center night stand.
Center night stand has some water damage due to rain blowing in possibility from window.

Has floor rot at front door, width of the door (maybe further) and extends into camper about 16" or so.

Floor under beds, cabinets, closets and main walkway seem solid.

Water tank under rear twin bed along with water heater (looks electric) and some copper plumbing (3/8")

Curious if y'all can give me some points to look at/check into at my next viewing?

Can you inform me as to how the utilities hook up? Camper has some outlet size connections on the outside but couldn't get them open to examine.

Any info, pointers or advice is appreciated.

I'd like to add,
On side view pic
Looks a lot like a big dent but it's actually a reflection from a boat.

The shell seems to be in great condition. No big dents, deep scratches or gouges.

Window plastic seals have cracked and deteriorated.

Looks great!
I would be surprised if you only have 16" of floor rot...check all the way around the edges. If that's really all you have, you're a lucky guy for sure.

The electric hook up for mine was front right corner...small fuse box was located inside there under the corner of the kitchen counter. Two screw in glass fuses.

Don't worry too much about bad window seals and gaskets. Pretty much everything is available from Vintage Trailer Supply and other places.

I know you wrote this about 7 months ago, but I hope you're well on your way toward renovating your very unique trailer! (FYI: There's a 13-Panel Safari group on Facebook that's kinda fun.)

Good luck!

I did in fact (recently) pick it up. I’ve started on fixing er up a bit and I’ll be asking some questions.

So far:
-Got all windows and vents working
-Power working
-Portion of floor in kitchen and front door replaced

Next
-front door repair
-rear storage floor repair
