Your trailer is pictured on the vintage trailer website, did you place it there or was that the previous owner?

I pulled the pics from there. I am the 3rd owner of the trailer and it was sold to me with the thought it was a safari. I saw the pics on vintage airstream and saw that was my trailer, so the pics are from there. Not sure who posted them there. They were close enough to know the numbers of my trailer to know it was a Panorama, and that isn't visible in the pictures. The PO had a friend list the trailer on eBay for them as they had no computer skills, so i am perplexed on how it became posted in the VAS web site. Tried to email VAS to get answers but email bounced back as undeliverable. If I were to post pics of the trailer now, the weeds are not such a pretty site, it's been sitting since it came from Illinois. Just a mystery on who took and posted the pics.

Is your trailer the same one that is in the pics? Looks to be in amazing shape.

Yes that is THE same trailer that
Is sitting in my driveway. Floor is soft at the entry, has a substantial dent In the top back end panel, that may be leaking and dents in the front where the sway bars connect, a little bending of the metal 'rain thing' above the door and windows. Thankfully there isn't too much rain in Cali. Only missing one knob that helps slide the cupboard door above the kitchen, and the missing window that the AC is stuck in, anyone know if that's an easy fix to original? I have a broken kitchen window, just the glass...But just some love taps that could be a serious project, may just leave for now.

The front window consists of three windows, if the 2 smaller windows have been removed on either side of the main window then it could present a challenge as the frames will be very hard to find.
An excellent thread is "slow floor replacement" by member "Toastie" He has restored a 55 safari so it will be similar to yours. (wish someone would show me how to add a link!) .

Hey Kevin, when you type out something like "Slow Floor Replacement", then first find the link you want, and copy the URL address. Now go back and select the text you want to make a link- that is, highlight it. Above the text entry box is a logo that looks like a world with a couple chain links below it (just below the white happy face). Click that with the text selected, then you get a pop-up window to enter your link where you can paste in the one you copied before. That should do it.....
Slow Floor Replacement
And Susie, that's an absolutely beautiful find. Good luck on the project.

Nice! I had new tires and bearings packed prior to the 2,000 mile pull home. I sent a friend for it and they were home in a jiffy, I think they flew. I think it may need new brakes.

Thanks for all the wishes and wooos! I'm happy about my find and am eager to get out of a tent! The kids and I camp at least 7 days out of a month in the summer and it will be a fun change. Thanks for link to the floor!

Thanks for the link tutorial, as bad as I am with computers it will probably still give me trouble, but I'll sure give it a try!!
Susie, make sure your axle is ok before brake replacement, that way it can all be done at one time if need be.

We just inherited the first one ever made. The floor and kitchen have been redone already. We have family members that want to buy it from us but have no idea how to value such a unique treasure. May I ask what you paid for yours?
