We removed all the pealing vinyl off the walls and are left with what looks like brown lightwood around the beds. What are people doing here? R u putting more vinyl up, painting or what?
Ripped mine out and it all went in the dumpster. I installed natural birch with an amber stain and a hand rubbed lacquer finish.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
Any vinyl bathroom wallpaper will work if you use proper adhesive. You could also buy wood veneer in sheets and use the 3M spray 77 or a contact adhesive to laminate to the existing thin plywood. This will work on any flat or single curve surfaces but not on complex curves.
Our "78" Ambassador had the same vinyl over wood. The vinyl was actually peeling off the wall when we bought the trailer. We finally decided on a grass cloth wallcovering from Sherwin Williams. Cut the wall covering to rough shape, used contact cement, and trimmed the excess. Adds a whole new feeling to our trailer. Your options are many. Let us know what you decide to do...
