I am considering an Argosy that has twins in the center and a front dinette. Is there room for the dinette to be swapped out for a hide-a-bed sofa/love seat? I assume there is the width needed that something will fit, but what about popping out a bed towards the kitchen area? The one i am looking at at the moment (only online at this point) is a 24'. Thanks

I have all the parts you would need to make the switch. They were recently removed from my 25' Tradewind. I have the entire front lounge, cushions, radio, the whole setup.
what I am really looking to do is put in a more standard (home style) sleeper/sofa. Is this possible? Are there certain companies to look at for doing this sort of thing?
Standard sleeper sofas are much, much heavier than the ones designed for travel trailers. Research what a conventional sleeper sofa would do to your tongue weight before you follow that route.
Airstreams are at a smaller scale than homes, and most RV's. You could ruin the interior appearance with a too large sleeper/sofa, and rob it of it's precious space. Play it safe and use Airstream components.
Would be very interested in purchasing the dinette from you... We have a '73 Argosy 28' and are wanting to remove our front gaucho and replace it with a dinette.
