Show me YOUR Living rooms in your airstreams!!

Regardless if age show us your renovated or not renovated living areas.

And list what you like most about them

Loved the curtain show, now I want to go buy some fabric for when I buy our airstream

Yes please show and tell

These are some of my favorite posts. It's like walking into a dealer but better because of the huge variations from make, model, styles, taste etc. I have nothing to post of substance as we are a clean slate. (clean being questionable). Looking a little Minimalism right now but it can only get better (after it gets worse). Thanks for the inspirations.

There's a thread about this here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f157...der-88805.html

The couch makes into a bed. We reused the old rails and the most of the original couch frame, adding the streetside section. As for plans - we sort of built it on the fly eyeballing it and making changes... but I do have some rough drawings with dimensions which are attached as a pdf.

Great thread. Here is a "Before" pics from our 34'. We're going out tomorrow, I'll shoot some "After" pictures and will post them when we're back.

Since this picture was taken, we had new flooring installed all round and re-upholstered the gaucho, the dinette and the chair. We also had a bunk built in the rear bedroom, for our three kids.

Next spring, we'll get the entire interior painted white. The kitchen will get a fresh work surface and we'll also refresh the dinette.

I know this is about living rooms, but just in case anybody wants to see the bunk setup:

The bunk runs across the back of the trailer and is tied into the frame. All windows have been kept operational. The bunk is incredibly stable and easily supports an adult - we've tested it with three, sitting on it.

We've really enjoyed the real leather vs the stock fabric upholstery. Taking the carpet out of our Classic was the first good move!

Here's what we did with our OB that now sleeps two! Replaced the dinette with Ikea children's cabinets and a breakfast bar:

The top flips up for easy access to the drawers:

Replaced the uncomfortable L-couch with a double recliner:

The front of the plastic bins have been covered with grass-cloth wallpaper to match the cool side lights and a narrow bin stack, also covered with grass-cloth has been added to the door side of the recliner. So comfy now!

You can see the remodel in progress here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f345...uts-99279.html
