We are just getting ready to lay locking, vinyl plank flooring (LVT) with a cushion back in our Airstream. Should be stable and does not have to be glued. We shall see...

Here is granite floor I did on my classic Airstream (now sold).
I did granite/marble floor on couple of my RV and loved the result, especially practicality.
Stone add 100+ lb depends on the floor size, but then I cleaned about 100 lb of sand under old carpets.

Marmoleum
We used Marmoleum sheet goods. You need to have a new sub-flooring or an old one that is very smooth. Great choice of colors and patterns. Green. No seams. They do make squares too. Negatives - Not as durable as other products, need green cleaning products, and depending on the color and pattern can show foot prints.

Love all these but my new floor is the prettiest! Marmolium African Desert. I did want to paint my oak cabinets but they don’t look as ugly anymore. Sheet goods - the only way to go.

No to NuCore
I bought NuCore from Floor and Decor in Denver. It has not performed well and the company was difficult to work with regarding problem solving my issue. Several of the planks separated within a month of install. The color and style of the planks is nice and folks who don’t look close like the look of it.

I put Pergo on the floor of my study. Do not like it. Never again. Would not put it in an AS for sure.

We used carpet except in the bathroom we glued down a product called “Marmoleum” which is super durable, takes water and wipes clean. And it comes in a variety of patterns. Her’s a link: https://www.forbo.com/flooring/en-us/products/marmoleum/marmoleum-marbled-sheet/bygfce#anker

Luxury Vinyl Click Together Tile
I suspect Lumber Liquidators, like other flooring retailers, do not recommend their products for trailer/RV installs due to liability, warranty claim, or plain dissatisfaction issues from disgruntled customers should a problem arise. The safe bet is to parrot the manufacturer's warranty and temperature range limitations.
That said, we chose a Lumber Liquidator VCT product some 4.5-5 years ago which resembles Italian marble (12"x24" tiles). Specifically, it is a "Tuscan" colored variety which the wife thought best matched our rather monochromatic hues.
It has held up well to two people and two very large dogs since install. The transition from dirt trapping carpet to smooth vinyl has been an excellent choice for us. One deviation from the instructions I followed was to use a few drops of cyanoacrylate glue in the adjoining click joints whenever I had to fabricate much smaller, odd-shaped pieces to fit unusual shapes/transitions around corners/cabinetry in a run.

What ever floor project you start make sure you have a good assistant.
I used Armstrong because of the linking system was designed to work in small areas and the color match was great.

I commented earlier, but could not attach photo. Trying a link this time (hopefully it will work.) This is VCT from Lowe's. I like the look and it goes well with the vintage of our trailer. It's holding up well so far.
New paint on interior with roll-on Zolotone. Quite a bit of work and expensive, but I love it. Will wear like iron for sure.

I second the "CoreTec Plus" recommendation. This is a high quality floating click vinyl plank. There has been absolutely no opening of seems in my installation due to the fiberglass core and it being a very tight locking floating floor. Basically it becomes once piece. On the bottom is a layer of cork (which keeps the floor from being icy cold in the winter), then a fiberglass core and the top is extremely realistic looking "wood" vinyl.
What is important to me is that there is no toxic off-gassing since I full-time in my tin can. It is absolutely waterproof, meaning the material itself is not affected by water. However, I can't vouch for it being water tight, meaning I don't know if water could run through the seams onto the subfloor, though I doubt it.
I only had it for about 7 months, but the temperatures in my trailer since install varied from 37 degrees (yep, ran out of propane during the night) and 104 degrees. Humidity anywhere between 8% and 91%.
Installation was pretty simple, but you'll need a taping block, a pull bar for the end pieces and read the instructions! Cuts like butter with a jig saw.

I am confused. Is "peel and stick" the same as floating? That is, if it has a glue backing and sticks on the subfloor, how can it be floating?
