Refrigerator and Oven in Very Rough Shape

I’m new to this group. We have a 1962 Tradewind that has been neglected for many years, suffered water damage, and became a mouse motel. The Dometic refrigerator and stove/oven are in horrible shape. Would anyone want them? Also most of the cabinets are in bad shape. As well as the sinks and tub. But I don’t have the heart to throw them in the landfill. Especially if someone would want them. Please advise! Thank you.

You'd be surprised what people doing period-correct restorations will want - even though these are in "horrible shape" they may still be good for parts!

We've restored several trailers and always were in need of donors for parts...good luck! I've even seen where folks take the door of a vintage fridge and use it added onto a new fridge to "look" vintage even if it isn't.

Thank you for offering them up and not dragging them off to a landfill!

Shari

The fridge especially will likely be wanted by someone doing a restoration; it's got the classic looks, is built like a tank, likely still works or can be easily fixed, lacks failure-prone, parasitic electrical draining control boards, and can run off both propane or electricity. They don't build them like that today, it's a hidden gem.
