You might try airpartsinc.com but I've always purchased 5052 H42 in sheet form, 2024 is def available in rolls up to 32' IIRC.

We also got ours at Airparts, Inc. and used 2024-T3.

Thank you!

Can you help me understand why one would choose sheets vs rolls and what width is best? Also best method for figuring out how much I need?

I can't think of any reason to buy sheets over a roll, except maybe the alloy you need isn't offered in roll form. We bought 2024-T3 in a roll because:
1. The sheet sizes are limited - we needed panels longer than sheet size and didn't want to add seams
2. We needed multiple panels so less waste to cut from roll
3. The panels on an Airstream are rarely (if ever!) going to match up to the sizes of standard panels.
4. Easier to ship a roll than sheets
Regarding the width - You will be cutting it anyways, so the width doesn't really matter - get 4' or whatever is the widest panel you need. Then cut-to-fit as needed.

Use your old panels as patterns, if you have them. We were fortunate to have our existing panels to calculate the length from and use as patterns - they were just damaged.

If you don't have your original panels, keep in mind, that the seams need to overlap "-1"+ and line up with the ribs. Then:
1. Do a sketch of the panels you need on grid paper make a pattern, then add them up for the length.
2. Do full scale rosin paper patterns - then lay them out and add them up.
3. Order enough to get started (measure the easy part - straight panels (from the floor to waist high all the way around the trailer + "a little extra") then place a second order once you get the hang of it.
Good luck!

Shari
