Painting interior side of exterior skin

Newbie here - recently purchased gutted '73 - 27 ft Overlander. Previous owner did frame and floor work and very solid. He had removed the interior skins and sealed all from interior with Vulkem. No leaks, so far, after sitting in good storms. Planning on using Prodex to reinsulate and wondering about using an elastometric paint on interior side of exterior skin prior to Prodex. Have just read threads about painting roof and wondering if you did this on the inside if it would kill two birds with one stone. Help with leaks and heat transfer to interior.

IMHO the only good reason to paint the interior of the external skin would be for corrosion protection, but only before installing the skin. I don't think you will see any thermal advantage with the the interior painted.

I painted the exterior interior skins on mine with a product called hytech thermal ceramics- it's a powder you mix into paint and roll on. It was cheap and seemed to make a difference. I also did spray foam for the insulation. It's really boils down to personal opinion and likes
