Need some help with order

My wife and I have a 1971 25í Land Yacht we are restoring. I have already replaced all of the frame (due to rust through and PO towing with it), all new marine grade plywood flooring, and repaired and and all leaked from bad seals in the roof. Itís now time to get the fun stuff going. My question is this. For those of you who have redone entire rigs before what is the order you would suggest going from here. We have everything (except what type of water heater) figured out as far as floor plan and appliances. I was thinking rough plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, finish plumbing, wiring, flooring and then furnishings. Am I on the right track? Thank you very much.

Depends on flooring but my suggestion would be flooring before cabinets and furniture

After frame, subfloor, rough-in electrical, I would complete interior paint. After that, flooring (make sure to use quality floor protection). Then the rough-in plumbing (we used PEX with Wirsbo Uponor fittings). Lay out the cabinetry with tape. Locate and secure your freshwater tank. Just do all you can without the cabinetry in place so thereís room to work. You can rough-in the propane on the outside of the belly pan with shut off valves for each appliance. Make sure you test all rough-in assemblies. Get er finished and head out. Happy holidays and good luck.

Agree with both GMFL and Bubba on their points. Assuming you haven't done this yet, but doing the belly pan and anything contained within it should be laid out and installed before starting inside since it may affect plumbing and some electrical. Have fun and keep us posted.

Iím about to order the black tank and Iíve left the belly exposed until rough plumbing is in. Thanks for the input. Thatís pretty much what my thoughts were. I just know after building cars there are things I wouldíve done in a different order so I thought Iíd check with experienced people. Lol.

Need Some Help with Order

I donít want to offer anything specific on the order, there has been said on that. HOWEVER, nothing has been said about heating and duct runs throughout the cabin. These are large in comparison to water, drains and electric most of which can be worked around the ducts, but trying to do the ducts last is a mistake. To a lesser degree but along the same thought is ducting for the heat.

Are you adding a gray tank?
Makes camping much more convenient not needing to haul around a separate one.
I would wait till after cabinets and furniture with outside compartments underneath to put in flooring, better to be able to see sub-floor is dry.
