Interior wall/ceiling covering

Has anyone tried to cover the walls/ceiling in Formica or bending plywood (comes in many veneer types) and glued it to the ribs instead of using rivets or screws? Not seeing the fastener type would be quite nice.

Interior wall/ceiling covering

Install bendable plywood with countersunk screws into ribs as glue will not hold at ceiling until dry.
Fill countersunk screws with matching sized, matching wood species of wood dowels as wood plugs to hide screws. Sand glued wood plugs to be smooth with plywood.

The thing that sucks about glue, is the inability to reasonably disassemble.

Asa retired carpenter of 25+ years i have always liked the look of a stainless screw through a chrome finish washer as an option for an exposed fastening system. In my opinion it works well with the riveted concept of the airstream where there is a certain aesthetic beauty to seeing how the rig is constructed as part of the overall feel.
