Froli Star sleep system

Installed the Froli Star Sleep system today. First impressions is it’s a GREAT System. Added comfort and ventilation under the Mattress. WIN-WIN in my book.

Double bed size is what I got.

How's it work with fitted sheets, etc?

I installed this system on my boat, which had mattress on plywood. This improved the sleeping but never matched a good mattress with a foam topper or a sleep number bed. However, the V berth on the boat required a custom size, which this system provided. It prevented moisture under the mattress.

We installed this system in our boat v-berth, under a pillow top mattress. It was fabulous sleeping, while providing good ventilation under the mattress.

We've thought about adding this to the Airstream, but we find the current mattresses comfortable (2017 27 FCFBT).

I like to tuck my sheets and comforter under the mattress. I wonder if this system makes it harder to do that.

We also added a Froli system, mostly for ventilation in cold temperatures. What a difference it also makes in comfort! We highly recommend the system, especially if you are full-time, like we are.

We were fortunate to find one second-hand from fellow Airstreamers who upgraded to a Classic, which has a slat system.

We do use fitted sheets. Sometimes they catch on the Froli springs when I’m making the bed, but the sheets haven’t ripped or rolled up while sleeping. We’ve had no issues at all. We love the Froli system.

interesting design - not sure of the value under an 8" memory foam mattress other than help with circulation under the mattress - expensive for that IMHO
