Domestic refrigerator
Has anyone replaced or rebuilt the MB 52 refrigerator. What replacement did you use that fit’s in the original spot on 63 Flying cloud? Can you replace the refrigeration unit. Love the look of the original frig.

We liked the vintage look of our 50s Dometic M-16, but the working parts were shot. We purchased an Isotherm refrigerator conversion kit that is a two way, 12vdc and 120vac. We repainted the unit and added new gaskets. It runs off the trailer batteries (12v) when towing and the truck keeps the batteries charged fully. We’ve been happy with it. Just a thought. Good luck
