Ceiling light covers

I had to replace the lights that run the center of the camper on the ceiling. PO had removed the covers and light strips. I've got the lights up and ordered the replacement covers but, for the life of me, I have no idea how they attach to the ceiling. I didn't have one up to go by and......well, just lost. Anybody got ideas?

There are many different types of light fixtures. You have not told us or shown us what lights you have. Share those details and someone will be able to help with specifics.

On most RV lights I have experience with the lenses go onto or into the base and are held by a small lip, either on the lens or base. The lights I have on my trailers the lenses are installed by compressing the lens by hand, setting it in position, release the compression, and that holds it securely in place.

Sorry about that, I think I've figured out I'm gonna have to rig it up somehow. The po took the original covers off and the ligths belind them. The knob for the fan/vent was off also. I looked up the archived owners manuel on line and could kinda figure out how it mounted. Never the less, parts are missing. So a rigging I will go.
