You are flying through this part of the build and doing great work as well. Looks like a really nice layout.

Are those drawers under the beds? That is what I am planning. Also are you using drawer slides? - Mark

Looking fantastic!

I love the natural wood look it is nice and light is it oak veneered ply? Great progress you will be camping in it next week at this rate! I am putting twin beds in the back of mine when I get to that bit. The double bed I put in previously swallowed up a lot of space, and it's nice to have am extra place to sit too I think.

Thank you!

Yes those are all drawers under the beds. 22" drawer slides, so they come out all the way into the "walk way", but why not get all the storage you can!

Don't get too used to the natural wood look! The cabinets and wood work right now is almost all either 3/4 sanded plywood or 3/4 poplar board. Lots of sanding and painting in my future.

I recall you mentioning about your wife calling the shots and you are going to be painting and wallpapering. It will look nice either way because you have done a great job on the foundation part, which is the building and the fitting of everything. Your layout is very similar to what mine will be so its nice to see someone working on a similar trailer. I used 12mm poplar board for my old interior and it was OK but from a big box store ordered online during the lockdown we had in the UK...there were loads of knots and some warped boards too. I ended up scrapping it in the end. Yours looks much higher quality. I did find using a multi tool with sanding pads on a real time saver when preparing to paint

For shower “door” I am just going to use a small curtain.

I am open to suggestions from anyone who has put tile in the shower for a trailer that is not stationary.

We used a roll on waterproof membrane (red guard) on the bulkhead. To attach the tiles, we substituted using tile mortar/thin set with construction adhesive. Trowel it on just like thin set. It was a similar consistency and held the tiles on the wall until dry. Those tiles will never come off!

Looks nice. There is a ton of cabinetry work in that interior. Sanding and painting is tedious, but rather dramatic as you see it transform to your plans.

Have fun...

Amazing! Your Ambassador looks great. You have significantly increased the value of the trailer.

Maybe getting close to the finish line now.

You are doing beautiful work. Is that a compressor fridge you have installed (see photo)?

It is a 120 and 12v fridge/freezer from Vitrifrigo. No compressor!

If it's a 120v/12v Vitrifrigo fridge it does have a compressor. It's either incorporated into the unit itself or mounted remotely, but it has one.

Sorry I misread this. Yes it is a compressor fridge. I was thinking propane absorption which it is not.

Sorry, I don't. I just buy 6" quality foam at a pretty firm density and cut to fit. Then lay 2" of memory form on top and sack it up with a mattress cover. Goot enuf for camping. Much better than a sleeping bag on the ground.

Basically the same thing I believe. Best place to source foam?

There is an eBay seller that sells some really good foam I used for the bunk beds.
Reasonable cost. A cheap electric carving knife and you’re in business. I’ll dig up the seller and post it here.
