Please help! I have opportunity to buy an original 1947 Liner in great condition for $28,000. Is that too much to pay. I don't know much about these vintage trailers but have been looking around for a few years. Thank you!

I don't believe that 28k can buy you a fully restored liner in 100% condition . However it probably buys you a clean camper. Besides the obvious like appliances and overall condition, my first concern is the pipe frame and if it has been rebuild / updated or if it is original. Personally I believe the original pipe frame was ok in it's day but is definitely not safe at today's traffic and highway speed.
Have a look at my 48liner resurrection thread in the 48 liner forum for some detail frame photos and feel free to ask any questions. Oh and post pictures

Thank you for responding. The Liner is not restored. It is in complete original condition. It has the metal cabinets bed and sofa. The body I'd in great condition, only 2 very small dents. It does have some broken glass but that seems minor. I want to use it for an office on my property.
