Funny you should ask...Theo was the Master Tech at a Volvo/Mercedes Dealership. 9yrs later I was at a Pontiac/Olds store.(you know what happened with them)
Went too Chevy as an ASE Tech and retired as Assistant Service Mgr.
Typical old school progression...Knuckle Buster, Grease Monkey, Mechanic, Auto Technician, Computer Assisted Parts Changer and ending up as the receptacle for everyone else's problems.🤓

A bit dif. [that era we were called Drill Instructors] not drill sgts. I was at Fort Leonard Wood 1956 & 57 no shouting or harassment of trainees, then got first cycle of 6 monthers summer 57, then couldn't do any thing that did before, thankfully I was deployed to Germany 3 weeks into that cycle. So much for peace time service. To old for Viet Nam.
