Weekend on Lake Michigan

Went camping on Lake Michigan and played at Oval beach this weekend. The beaches and campground were full, even two weddings taking place at the beach. Had nearly no social contact outside of my companion and was largely outside, we shall see. The parts of Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana I’ve been to in the past month seem about the same, some wearing masks, most not. The idea that wearing a mask is a political statement seems widely assumed in the areas I’ve been in lately. Using hospital trained hygiene practices here.

Oval beach, just north of Indiana Dunes.

And yes, I do know less of the viral load from a SARS‑CoV‑2 infected individual is present in diluted outdoor air (“the solution to pollution is dilution” as they say). Our hobby is timely and hygienic (relatively) too!
