Shower and holder broke - quick fix?

Hi there! Took 24 Caravel 20FB for maiden voyage and shower wand would not go into holder very easily, and apparently I didn’t put it back correctly, because when we got back to home base, shower wand was on shower floor and tannish part that it clips into had fallen out of the housing up top. Is this easy to fix? It it always so awkward trying to put the shower wand back into it’s holding place?

WE NEVER travel with the shower-wand in its holder. We Always place it on the floor of the shower….usually inside a collapsible rubber bucket we bought at WalMart and find useful for all kinds of duty while travelling.

If it's truly broken, I'd add this to the warranty repair list. In our experience Airstream is pretty good about replacing stuff that gets broken even if it could be construed the customer broke it. They are replacing our bathroom mirror even though we ran over a curb which caused it to flip up. We contacted our dealer and they ran it by Airstream and offered to send the part. Our trailer is in JC for other repairs so I had them do the fix, but with something like this the part might simple to replace.

2021 Caravel 16, upgraded shower head and holder to this:

FYI, you should always take head off the wall and place on the floor during travel, and might as well because it will end up there anyway. In our small wet bath, I simply wrap up the hose and head and place behind the toilet to keep it from sliding around.

Hope this helps. Hope you enjoy your Caravel as much as we do.

We replaced ours with the Oxygenics also. Not because ours broke but because it's just a much friendlier head to use. The spray pattern is better, and the off/on flow lever works better.
Also, like Boxite recommended, place it on the floor when traveling.
