Insights on Land Yacht

Could use some insight from Land Yacht owners.

Been shopping for our first AS. At this point the two of us are new empty nesters and weekend warriors. Mostly five day festivals and the like. We don't cook a lot and don't really need a lot of storage but we like space. We have been looking at used 27FB Twins then ran into a 2017 Land Yacht and fell in love with the esthetics. The Land Yachts obviously costs a lot more than other models and we are just wondering how it performs compared to other models? Why did you chose it over other models and has it met expectations? Is it more than a cosmetic thing? What does it do for you that other models don't do or don't do as well?

My wife and I have a 2015 LY. I have mixed feelings about the LandYacht.

Positives-

1. Very unique and higher quality finishes. I love the bath and shower. Love dinette and galley style.
2. Overall layout is very good
3. Most parts are of the higher quality
4. Fabrics and veneers are top notch.

Negatives-

1. Lounge seat is strangely long. Longer than necessary and wasted space for our purposes. But maybe good for you because you aren’t staying in it for weeks.
2. Some of the parts are still lower end ( pout I’m not sure higher end even exists for furnaces, etc.)
3. Fridge inside a closet. Annoying. We got rid of the door.
4. Only 5 kitchen drawers was tough. But you may not care.
5. No night table drawer, cabinet or cubby hole.
6. Pathetically inadequate storage in the bathroom.
