Reason AS Discontinued Nest

So why did AS discontinue the Nest? Weak sales? Quality issues? Something else?

Shooting a good fiberglass shell for anything requires quite a bit of expertise. There were reports that quite a few went out the door with thin gel coat and delamination problems. Also other design problems like window protectors falling off, fridges not cooling because there was not adequate clearance from the floor... and none of.the dealers knew how to fix them.

Of course robust competition from Casita, Oliver and Scamp, all sold factory direct with no dealer markup surely put the nail in the coffin.

you might find some of this thread interesting https://www.airforums.com/forums/f54...ed-208631.html

By the way, one of the reasons I purchased a Nest was because I figured it would be discontinued. I've had a good experience with mine!

That seems pretty smart! I think the Nest will become a cult classic.
