New aluminum exterior storage boxes
I upgraded the factory side storage boxes which were fine but not weather tight. I kept the same footprint size but increased the height from 5" to 8", and they are still well above the trailer's low point (not that it's necessarily relevant, but our Nest is lifted 2 3/4"). I'm really happy this upgrade

That's a nice addition to the unit. Did you do the work yourself?

Wish I could say that I built the boxes, but I only purchased them and did the installation

Forgot to mention that these boxes were a special order/custom size, but it only took about 3 weeks to get them.

Hi. They look great. So, curious minds want to know - ahead of time. Are they held in place with 4 screw, as sort of shows in one picture? Or did you have to do mods to get them to fit? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Actually there are three screws on each side, 8 thru the back of the box threaded directly to the frame and another 8 up thru the top of the box. I just copied what the factory did with the original box. Very sturdy!

Really nice, Your original box is a lot different then mine but the new one is still much better all around. For your next magical trick find a way to put in a switch to change the gray water between the holding tank and straight through. I have not done much to the TT but I have put in a circle turn around and Island in the front of my house so I do not need to back in any more.
Have a great one

Thunder storm just rolled through so I had to fire up the generator. What I was talking about is a way to switch gray water straight through when you have full hookup and back to the tank when dry camping. I am also working on installing a RV port for the Nest.

I think that given how close the tank is to the common gray water drain point and how tight the area is it would be impossible. That is why I mentioned Magic. Have a good one.
