Added some GasStop valves...
With the right angle hoses available from Airstream Life store and a couple of fittings, everything fits and the hoses are much more manageable

Nest inverter installation
The Nest has a pretty handy spot to install an inverter in the front right storage compartment under the seats and very near the batteries. I'm happy that I decided to get an inverter and an auto transfer switch -- very handy and it even worked on my soft started AC...at least for a while (I've got 360 AH of lithium)

I've had many of the same issues with my Nest but must say Airstream has been on it with every issue. I'm not impressed with Lazydays so you may wish to be certain where the problem lies.

Swapping exterior cable/satellite plugs for 12v outlet
I never use the coax connectors so I replaced them with a 12v receptacle. Handy for my little compressor

Did you remove the tray for the batteries when you redid your propane tanks.

As I recall, I left the trays mostly intact. I'll try to get a photo/view from underneath in the next day or two.

The pic is great. I have bought a sheet of aluminum diamond plate for the area and a new gasket for the nose that I think will be better then the failing one. I am going to leave it 1 tank and seal the floor of the compartment for storage. I have 1 more tip planed then I will get on it now that the carport is up. I think the one upgrade of yours I want to do next is the aluminum boxes. Really like those. If you have it maybe you could send me the size and ordering info on those when you get a chance.
Happy Trails

16U cabinet removal?
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone tried removing the "extra" kitchen cabinet (where the small dinette is on the FB)?
Thanks for any hints!

Just curious: Why do you want to remove it? Do you wish you'd purchased an FB?

I love the extra storage because I am a cook, but DH has the "job" of converting the bed, and I wondered if we should try it to leave the bed made up with a little seating area with a little storage under the seats. Then, if we preferred it the original way, we could switch it back. I only wanted to do this trial if we found it fairly simple to take it out and put it back again.

Custom storage build
I have a FB and love it. The bench turned into a storage space so I removed the cushion and added piece of wood to it to make a table top… But that makes it hard to access the storage behind it and below the bench. I’m trying to figure out a basic layout that I could build to make this space more functional and easy to access. I’m thinking some open air cubbies on the bottom, maybe a drawer, maybe something with a latch, or even use of bungees and baskets for a more modular use. Also thinking if I should keep the end by the bed “open” just enough for a butt to fit and sit if I wanted… Would appreciate any suggestions from some creative minds or pictures if anyone has already built something!
I have seen that some people with the front bed have done some creative things with the bench area—ex: making it more of a storage and putting a table on it that can be removed.
I have also read from people with the dinette floor plan stating that they want to remove their cabinet.
