Lift kit for Nest?
Have any of you considered lifting your Nest? I've looked things over pretty closely and it appears possible, although complicated by the sheet metal underneath the body.
I realize that other Airstream trailers can be lifted and I've read quite a bit about it, but I haven't seen a Nest with a lift.
Here's something I found specifically about the Nest, but I'm not sure the information is correct?? https://www.etrailer.com/question-384211.html

That kit might work, although I think it's an expensive and labor intensive way for the person asking that question to avoid removing the removable jack foot. The related photos show that kit on a Basecamp, which has a similar axle mounting system.

I have Had dealings with etrailers techs and they are very good. I tried to get a tow kit to fit a Ford Fusion for towing 4 wheels down and they would not sell it to me because they found that it would destroy the transmission. Manual said you could but they found a update that said you could not.

Around 2 3/4" higher
Still have to button things up before I pull it out of my shop for a good look, but so far I like the way things are looking.

The results of all that labor...
..and in the end, I'm not sure that it's really all that noticeable??
I'm just glad it's over!

I've got few different ball mounts with varying amounts of drop/offset to adjust the tongue height and get it somewhat level. Here's what it looked like before the lift. You can really see the difference at the wheels/fender flares. The entry step is still very usable. This would have been a fairly simple job if it weren't for the fact that the underbelly pans overlap the axle mounts and don't have enough clearance to allow the axle to drop over 2 1/2". I had to get pretty creative to trim those pans with everything still connected. Even though the extra ground clearance is nice, I really wouldn't recommend doing this on a Nest unless you have a well equipped shop and an abundance of patience.
