#happynest - Nest on the road

While Airstream is working on fixing all of our Nest issues, I thought I’d create a new thread for a more positive topic. All issues aside, we adore the Nest’s layout and design and can’t wait to have her back on the road.

Along those lines, here are a few pics from one of our favorite spots. Utah’s Goosenecks State Park is perfectly situated to see Monument Valley (though we LOVED the drive through Valley of the Gods much more; Moki Dugway not so much) and is only $10 a night, dry camping. Our spot was 20 feet from the canyon’s rim... thousand foot drop off, but coffee at sunrise... heaven.

If you ever end up out that way, check the weather forecast. 45 mph gusts had me googling “how high wind speeds have to be to blow over a 4000 lb trailer.”

Happy Nesting!

Thanks for the great photos!

Nice sleeping "cottage" you have next to the Nest . . .

I hope your repairs work out and you can enjoy the rest of the summer camping.

Thank you Peter. We love our “cottage” The Nest and RTT combo was the perfect blend of old school camping with modern conveniences/luxuries. Unless it was a three day downpour... then we were all ro-sham-bo-ing for our spot on the Nest bed.

WOW!!! Regarding both trailer, set up with car & tent, and site.

My acrophobia would probably kick in.

your Nest looks great...thanks for posting those pics. I was hoping to see more actual Nest users , because youtube has practically none, so I came over to this part of the forum.

also nice to see a fellow LC 200 owner. I use mine to tow my 19' International around.

happy camping!
