A bit of dyslexia: I initially thought this post title was talking about a nest in a tow vehicle....

I love the folding side table. Where did you get the material for the table top? I have a pair of folding hinges, but have not been able to find a top that I would really like. Yours is perfect, and looks great!

Finally finished up the details

I've been pretty lazy about my Nest projects , but I finally got the TV/Stereo project buttoned up with the wires hidden to the best of my ability.

Here's a photo of the sound bar I used. I attached it to the side of the window frame with a couple of short strips of my favorite heavy duty velcro https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Reclosab...487891&sr=8-36 The speaker wires run up and over the headliner.

Well the JWM72A I installed had a problem with the display could barely see it. Swapped for a new one and same problem. Jenson was not worried about it and said I should use the BT on the iPad to control it. The tech at Crutchfield called them and got much the same and swapped it out for the one you have. He even through in cables because I could not Use the HDMI. Can not say enough Good stuff about Crutchfield. Have been dealing with them for over 30yrs. Do not buy the 72A.

WiFi ranger with cell service

Finally installed my WiFi ranger with a sim card/cell service (had it for almost a year ) Works well for my computer, devices and to stream TV. I also continue to "clean up" my previous wiring projects...the very time consuming part of the projects that they don't warn you about on YouTube!

Hi - We just picked up our new Nest in July. I installed a 24" Vizio using an Ikea TV Mount that I had purchased a few years ago. I used 4 Well Nuts and 4 screws and washers to attach the Mount to the wall with the CableSat connectors. Below are photos of the TV and Mount installed.

I first marked the placement of the Mount and Mount screw holes, then I drilled a pilot hole in each screw hole in order to explore behind the cabinet. The cabinet wall is 18mm thick, which is just under 3/4 inch ... so be careful not to drill too deep. There is room between the cabinet wall and the fridge for a 1 1/2 inch screw but I wanted to be certain there were no wires in the way. I then used a 5/16 drill bit to enlarge each of the four Mount holes.

After that you insert the Well Nuts (with the screw placed in the Well Nut so to add firmness to the rubber portion of the Well Nut). I removed the screw and lined the Mount on the screw holes. I used washers and the screws and snugged up the Well Nuts.

The install feels solid but I will be removing the TV from the mount when I am towing the Nest. I plan to also check the install after I put some miles on the trailer.

Ps. The Nest Parts Book was a big help when researching how our Nest was built.

Happy Trails!
Andee,

In your older post here, the Dropbox links have expired. As I want to do exactly what you did, could you re-fresh the pictures and re-detail the screw lengths/types if you remember them so I don't hit the fridge?

Much appreciated!!!

Welcome to this forum! It's been pretty quiet recently, but there's lots of information to be found from posts over the past couple of years. I hope you get a response from "Ryne" with the photos.
