Anyone know what this wire is?

I was checking my rear AC drain lines and had the rectangular air vent off in the ceiling above the bed. I noticed this wire hanging down.

Looks kind of important but everything is working fine. The drains are even draining correctly for now.

Any ideas?

Hard to tell from your picture what it is. I would take a voltage reading to see if it's hot (check AC first, then DC). I would also call or email the AS help people. They should be able to help you. It's obviously for some kind of accessory. My guess is it's probably hot and may be for a vent fan of some type.
