Temporary fix for broken rear window recommendations needed.

So the yard folks were mowing yesterday and a weedeater threw a rock into the rear window on my globetrotter. It completely shattered. Now I need to figure out a temporary water tight fix until The new part comes in. It will have to survive 180 mile trip to Atlanta. I’ve put a piece of plexiglass in there cut to the exact glass dimensions that rests on the seal. I was going to brace it with some wood slats but It’s a bit too flexible for my taste. Any recommendations?

Lamar, very nice job! I think you’re on to something as a temporary solution.
