Storing my new GT

I’m really fortunate in that i have a friend with a huge indoor building that will rent me a spot for my 2021 GT. I have 50 Amp service in the trailer, but he does have a 30 Amp plug where my spot is. I was thinking of leaving it plugged in with the fridge on (12 V compressor fridge) and setting one of the ACs to 80 degrees. So I’d .eave it with the master disconnect on use, not store. Make sense?

Hi

If your objective is to buy a new fridge and new A/C the day after they go out of warranty ... running them all the time is a great way to go

Most of us turn everything off when the trailer is in storage. There's way less that can go wrong. Lighing hit on the building power ... takes out the trailer ... it does happen. Normal approach is to simply flip the full disconnect switch on the battery and walk away.

I don’t really see the need — you will just be putting hours on the compressors in both appliances.

And, the A/C, in Florida, will cause a permanent puddle under your trailer and your friend may not be thrilled about that.

I would just park it, plug it in and let your multi-stage converter keep your batteries charged.
