Removing the furniture

Anybody got any tip or photos of removing the furniture from your GT. Im getting ready to install Lithium and inverter. I took a very quick look today and it did not look obvious so I thought I would ask before digging deeper.

It going to happen I’ve just not had much time to explore how they are mounted in. Quick look does not reveal the screws

One post about the sink

Ronnie, I remembered this thread about the sink dropping and disassembling the cabinet if that helps: https://www.airforums.com/forums/f54...ng-195077.html

Thanks Jeff,
I’m primarily looking at how to remove the seating area with the upholstered backs.

Removing the furniture

This is a sign!

Consider rear bed install. room for 800 ah+ - I’ve got two (2) 300ah Victron @112lbs each. BB are lighter lb/ah.

After careful mathematics supporting the very calculated decision to place ~275lbs of equipment under the rear queen bed I’m still at 990lbs static pounds (~11.5% of my wet weight) on the tongue with my 30’ international (basically same layout as yours). Still room for his & her storage bins under the rear bed - we used them for clothes to keep additional rearward weight low.

I left lead acid batts in the box to help tongue weight. ProPride helps too

Frame is well structured to support this weight - I gained the architecture diagrams from AS - there are two cross members right under the batts to support the weight. This is the same shell and frame as the 30’ international which has an additional 1,200lbs GVWR simply due to the dexter axels they use. 30’ floor plan for the international/globetrotter/flying cloud is an excellent, robust and overbuilt platform.

Trailer behaves very nicely with our without the propride.
