2020 GT FB25T Copenhagen Cream/Dark Walnut w/Solar

Loving the minimalist look and feel. Excited for all the Creature Comforts. And those Tuft and Needle, WOW!

Our first new AS. We still have our 1975 Ambassador and plan to keep it. She will get some needed TLC.

KrazyKelleys - how is the Copenhagen Cream holding up for you? We are in the market for that color in a GT and there will be kids involved. Just wondering how yours is doing with staining, general wear, and cleaning?

Good for you!

Congrats on the new GT!

I can't imagine what it's like to go from your 1975 Ambassador to a new Globetrotter. You're spot-on about the Tuft and Needle mattresses. We were pleasantly surprised by the improved comfort from our 2018 FC23FB.

It's neat to hear your enthusiasm - keep us up to date once you get some time in it!

-Jeff

Thanks Jeff! We are down in Jekyll Island right now in the GT. The 75 is cool, but this one is super comfortable and much quieter with the ducted air. Love all the places to plug in our phones, etc. Cant quite figure out the cable tv. I guess if that's the only issue then I'm doing pretty good.

I see you are in McHenry. I have some family there and Crystal Lake. Know any Wellingtons, Weltziens or Childs? My cousin used to own the diner in town, I forget what it was called. Basically a greasy spoon in downtown McHenry. I want to say it had a boat like name? Something Nautical.

Hello,

Im sorry for not replying faster. The Copenhagen cream is holding up very well. Red Wine will just wipe right up with a wet cloth. I wish the cushions were a little more comfy, but they do the trick. I walked on the floor with a little red clay on my boots and with a little scrubbing from a wet cloth it came right up. So, I'm surprised that was that easy. I say go for it(if you haven't already). We love the look.

Good luck with it. Just this weekend we came home with one ourselves. Same everything but the 27’ size.

Enjoy

David, thanks for sharing what you like about the new GT. It's a great combination of design, features and comfort. I'm sure you'll find some things you'd like to change but that's part of owning an AS.

That's funny you have ties back to the area! I work in Crystal Lake and the Weltzien name sounds familiar. I believe Weltzien's had a furniture store in Huntley next to the bowling alley many years ago. Also think one went to the same high school that I attended.

There were some Wellingtons in Woodstock as well. I didn't know them but remember the name.

The greasy spoon in downtown McHenry doesn't ring a bell but there is one called "Kief's Reef"

Enjoy your new GT!
Jeff

Pulled the Trigger

Congrats on the GT. Tonight will be our 14th night in ours. We’ve only owned it 21 nights. Lol. At Anastasia SP now, so we are a couple hours south of you. Headed to Manatee SP, then down to Ft Desoto. Headed back north mid March. We’ve seen a lot of Airstreams, but no GTs. Hope to see you guys on the road.
FYI, our GT has been perfect. AC, furnace, fridge, all electric, water, no outside leaks, and we’ve had a lot of rain. (Once I figured everything out.)

Couldn’t be happier with our spur of the moment, decision to go from 23FB to 25FB twin right before we left for Florida.
